Overview
A multifamily community was repainted building by building with residents at home. Exteriors, railings and doors were renewed, followed by the corridors, stairwells and amenity spaces inside.
The challenge
Residents needed notice before anyone reached their balcony or window, and common areas had to stay presentable throughout. The south elevations had peeling paint and failed sealant around the windows.
The solution
Each building got a dated notice schedule, with balcony access and window masking coordinated in advance. Peeling areas were scraped and feathered, failed sealant was replaced, and a two-coat acrylic system followed. Interiors used low-odor products, one corridor at a time.
