Overview
A neighborhood retail center was repainted storefront by storefront while every tenant kept trading. The work covered the stucco fascias, sign bands and canopies, and the bollards and handrails around the parking field.
The challenge
Each tenant had its own opening hours and brand colors, and nothing could block an entrance during trading. Sun-facing fascias had faded unevenly, and the site metal showed rust at the base of the bollards.
The solution
Work started before opening each morning and moved one storefront at a time, with entrances kept clear and signed. Brand colors were matched and approved on site before any finish coat. Rusted metal was cleaned to SSPC-SP 3 and spot-primed, and the stucco received a breathable acrylic system.
